Installing GAS in your browser

Show me how…

To start using GAS, drag the bookmarklet below to your browser's bookmarks toolbar… If you don't have the toolbar visible, you can enable it by clicking the "View > Toolbars" menu, and selecting "Bookmarks Toolbar".

(what's a bookmarklet?)

What's a bookmarklet?
A bookmarklet is like a normal bookmark or favorite, but instead of a website address it contains a piece of code. The code in the GAS bookmarklet tells your browser to paint the screen blue, open up a GAS window in the center, and tells the GAS window what website you are browsing. That's it.

Installing GAS in your browser

We'd love to show you how to start using GAS, however this is no longer 2001 and you still seem to be using Internet Explorer 6! This browser is full of security problems and is very unsafe to use.

It is highly recommended that you upgrade to:
Firefox, Opera, Safari, Flock, or Explorer 7.

These are all free, much better browsers, and take only a couple of minutes to install.

Learn more at End 6.

Don't forget to come back and try out GAS once you've upgraded… See you soon!

Getting started with GAS

Using GAS is super-easy. All it takes is bookmarking a special link, and clicking it once whenever you're shopping online.
